When I first told my friends and relatives that I am going to work during this 6 months of break , their reactions was like " huh? you this kind of 'da xiao jie' can work meh ~ I bet you'll quit after one month or even faster ......"
However, I have been working as a part time tutor since January until now ...See?? I have been working for months and I didn't quit okay ?????? Wooohooo....I have proved that they were wrong about me ..... I can work and earn my own pocket money ! hahah.. It is great to spend money of MY OWN .. =P
Anyway, I teach at night during weekdays and the pay is quite reasonable too...I need to know everything to teach in that tuition centre.. because I need to teach different subjects every night...
Monday : Chinese Tuesday : Malay Wednesday : English Thursday : Mathematics and Science in both English and Chinese Language Friday : Essay writting ( Malay and Chinese )
I teach the same students everyday , except for Thursday..Thursday is the toughest day as I need to teach Standard 4 and 5 students together... Their exercises are different and I only have one mouth and one brain ... I can't split my body into two !!!! And the students keep calling 'teacher' here and there... I really can't attend to all of them at one time ..and I got really impatient at times ...hahah
Something funny happened last Thursday, I was busy teaching year 5 students to do their mathematics questions and I wrote all the answers and solutions on the white board, leaving the year 4 students to do exercises on their own...the whole class was in silence .....
And out of the blue, one of the year 5 student popped a question : " When is teacher going to teach year five students ?? " I was like ... huh??? I've been teaching YOU all along since the lesson started.... BURNINGGGGGG...really feel like whacking the student with what I have in my hand !
Haha...Anyway, teaching is quite a fun thing to do .Students nowadays are really under a lot of pressure ...Thank God , I think my life is much more easier compare to them when I was in primary school ! =P
